One Wild & Powerful Ride: 2017 Ford Raptor

There's just something about trying to hoist myself up into a truck that gets me excited to head out on the road. You are riding higher than others and it starts to go to your head quickly when you realize the power this truck holds. Not only under the hood, but even in this styling.

The 2017 Ford Raptor is based on the latest Ford F-150, and it's still an off-roader pickup with very muscular styling. The power under the hood comes from it's 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. And this beast can go from 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds. And of course you get the sound of that engine roaring as you floor it. Try not to smile while you do -- trust me, it's nearly impossible.

With the key in your pocket, as soon as you walk up to the truck, it automatically unlocks for you. Once you sit inside, you'll quickly take notice of all of the luxury features. Starting with the leather seats, they have both heating and cooling options. But when it comes to the infotainment center, Ford is truly leading the pack with Sync 3. To have the option of both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is amazing. I'll plan on featuring a blog on Sync 3 alone as there are so many forward-thinking features. Another favorite part of the interior was the ability to change the ambient lighting. I immediately set it on purple which came out my favorite color of pink. My type of truck.

No matter if you are cruising through the city or trying back roads for some fun, the Ford Raptor will give you an unforgettable experience. And you'll be turning heads everywhere you go. If we were to add a truck to our family, this would be a top choice. The styling alone won our hearts and then the power just melted them.
