Best Smartphone Car Mount: iOttie Easy One Touch 5
New car, new phone, and new phone mount! Finding a phone mount for your car can be difficult as there are so many on the market and then each car is different! I can help you with that! iOttie has been my go-to for a couple of years now and they just launched their brand new Easy One Touch 5 along with a cup holder mount option! This is perfect as my last mount fit in the CD player slot, but with my new car, I don’t have one. I had NOTHING to hold my phone safely while driving.
iOttie not only has the best tech accessories, but their car mounts can’t be beat. The options they offer for each mount is outstanding (dash, windshield, air vent, CD player, and now cup holder). My phones never slip out and the mounts last! I’m always one for new tech, so anytime they have something different, I’ll need to try it.
Their patented Easy One Touch mechanism locks and releases your smartphone within seconds thanks to the quick, one-handed motion. A couple of extra steps are needed as this isn’t a wireless charger, so your cord will need to be plugged into your phone. My current daily driver is the Google Pixel 4a, which doesn’t have wireless charging, so no issues there!
Speaking of the charging cord, let’s review the installation. You can tell a lot of thought went into their design as it’s sleek, stays in place in the cup holder, and also hides all those messy cords!
